Why Mentoring?

Mentoring is a special partnership between two people based on commitment to the mentoring process, common goals & expectations, focus, mutual trust and respect.

It allows young people to learn valuable knowledge from those who have experience & advantage of maturity.

The consistent, enduring presence of a caring adult in a young person’s life can be the difference between staying in school or dropping out, making healthy decisions or engaging in risking behaviours & realising one’s dreams.

  • To expose students and young adults to diverse spectrum of opportunities & work available in their fields of study.

  • To provide students & young adults a window through which to view professional obligations in the real world.

  • To provide young people with a platform to engage in conversations with experienced mentors & successful peers.

  • Support and challenge in formulating a clear sense of personal direction.

Only post secondary students & recent graduates. Must be below 30 years. Ugandans only.

Each mentorship cohort last up to 6 months. However, engagement can continue after that.
