Uganda is one of the African countries with one of the best Universities on the continent as well as the entire world. Of all these Universities, Makerere is (traditionally) locally and internationally known to be the best in the country. It also ranks as one of the best in East Africa, with Kyambogo and Gulu University and the rest trailing behind.
